I’m not doing this blog to gain a zillion followers. I started it so friends and family could keep tabs on what we’re doing in France (and, selfishly, so I don’t have to repeat my stories every time I’m asked how things are going). So, if you or anyone you know wants to get a notice when I post something new, you can either use the “subscribe” section on every page, or use Bloglovin to follow me (and any other blogs that appeal to you).
And please feel free to comment on my posts. I like seeing your comments.

Hi Alison, your “Test” worked for me. It’s nice to see the progress on your home. I was hoping to surprise you with a visit in May on my way to the Isle of Man (classic car event – now cancelled; I would have driven from the south of France to Calais to London, where I would have met John Horgan and others; then off to the IoM). Oh well, perhaps next year. By then, I am sure your house will be complete 🙂 . Stay safe!

Hi Tom, I’m glad you are reading the blog. How fun it would have been to see you while you were on your way north. I hope you will be able to reschedule your trip to the Isle of Man soon – that sounds like great fun!
